On Thursday 27th June, Pairoo launched to newly qualified GPs. The event which supports GPs in a key phase of their careers, was sponsored by the Royal College of General Practitioners and held in the beautiful countryside location of Putteridge Bury Conference Centre.
During the event Pairoo demonstrated the simplicity and power of the online platform to over 30 GPs, receiving excellent feedback on what we are already doing right and how we can further enhance the functionality and features of the platform. A range of panellists delivered a variety of workshops discussing Training, Out of Hours, becoming a GP partner and the introduction of technology to the Primary Healthcare sector.
Despite GPs only just qualifying there was a great deal of interests in how to manage finances/pensions and a full hour session was delivered highlighting the importance of planning ahead and the optimal solutions for GPs. Naturally Locum work was a major topic with many GPs asking questions how IR35 is likely to impact them and what future legislation changes are likely to take place. Many registered with Pairoo and showed in an interest in how Pairoo was able to remove the need for agencies, saving the NHS money and giving back more to hard working GPs.
The event had GPS attending from Luton, Watford, London and various cities from Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
